MCC Strategy – Brand Identity

The client had an initial direction in mind but needed someone to develop it into a cohesive, considered brand identity. My role was to take that seed of an idea and build it into something that could hold its own in a high-trust sector.

The brief centred on one clear ambition: a brand that felt museum quality. MCC Strategy’s clients are cultural institutions with exacting standards, so the identity needed to reflect that world back to them. It had to feel refined, intelligent, and authoritative without tipping into the kind of cold corporate aesthetic that sits at odds with the cultural sector.

Typography was central to achieving this. The font selection was deliberate and purposeful, chosen specifically to evoke the kind of considered, institutional quality you associate with the world’s great museums and galleries. Paired with a carefully curated colour palette and consistent visual language, it gives the brand a quiet confidence that speaks directly to its audience.

The full brand identity package covered the logo, colour palette, typography system, and brand guidelines, giving the client a complete toolkit to carry the identity forward consistently across print, digital, and everything in between.
